What Types of Dents Can Be Repaired?
Typically, the factors to consider when evaluating a paintless repair are:
1. Depth. How deep or sharp a dent is relative to its size.
2. Location. Is there access to the backside of the panel.
3. Paint condition. Has the paint been chipped or cracked.
Although a dent may be deep, have difficult access or have paint damage it may not necessarily mean a quality repair cannot be performed. These factors will come into play while considering the results of the repair, however many times a quality paintless repair is the better choice between it and a conventional repair.
